Jake and I recently took a trip to Phoenix to visit some friends of ours who live in the area. While there, we decided to go for a short day hike out in the desert. It wasn’t super sunny, or even very hot at all that day. Since we were only planning on hiking a few miles neither of us brought along any water. We’re experienced hikers and usually don’t hit the trails unless we’re completely prepared however we didn’t bring our hiking gear to Phoenix with us since we didn’t have plans to go hiking. That being said, the scenery was.....so beautiful that we just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to explore a bit of nature in the desert.

A couple hours into our hike I started getting really thirsty when I realized Jake hadn't even brought along any water and he’s always prepared for anything.
